Bro istg, you guys are the first people in a reaction i have seen that has caught the couple in the background with the same hair color as Anju and Daiya, and yeah its supposed to symoblize them in Anju's ideal future as Theo asks her what she wants for the future. Its really damn impressive. The series has a lot more details like this, i recommend watching in your own time a video called "86 - eighty - Reviewing details you missed in the anime" - ctrlaltQQ. If you are interested in that stuff ofc, the video is very well made.

Also fun fact, the Nouzen clan has a power besides communication and that's that their steps are dead silent, that's why Frederica was so freaked out and Shin said it was a habit, but actually it's not something he can help.
