[Commission] What a Bargain! (1/2)

At the time this was initially put together, my idea of Kat's shrinking method was totally different and wouldn't shrink clothing. Keep that in mind, everyone that's wondering why Sarah's naked. In fact, since I don't have a story for this one. Let's dig into that, shall we? When AKO were created, I ensured that pretty much all of my fetishes could be covered by the small cast. Amber was facesitting and smothering, Olivia is gas-play, and Kat handles size fetish and anal vore scenarios. Those three together are pretty much everything I'm into personally. Amber and Olivia's ways require little to no extra story reasons, but Kat's meant that my universe needed the capacity for shrinking someone. I wanted there to be a reason and method that Kat shrinks people. Initially I wanted to avoid magic, it felt overdone. (I've since changed my view on this entirely) but that was the initial thought. This is why I wrote The Perversion of Alchemy story. The goal was to not only tell an interesting and kinky story, but also explain where the poison that Kat shrinks people with came from. A prequel of sorts. That's right, the initial shrinking method was going to be poisoning. Kat would have this poison that she purchased on the dark web to shrink people. All they'd have to do is consume it some way and they'd reduce in size for a few hours before returning to normal. This sounded great in my head, and I envisioned a few scenarios where I could use this. But over time, I realized that this method was actually incredibly limiting and stretched the suspension of disbelief more than I'd like. The impossibility of the poison notwithstanding, the idea that she could repeatedly get this stuff into the same people over and over again was a bit farcical. This is why I ultimately ditched the idea and moved towards magic. Magic is not only an easy way to hand waive problems like their clothing shrinking as well, but it's also a vehicle for me to let nearly anything I want to happen, happen. The poison can shrink, that's what it does. But magic can do anything I want it to. Can she shrink people with it? Yes. Can she summon a giant zombie to dom people with it? Also, yes. Magic is a wonderful tool that really expands storytelling and scenario flexibility and is something I plan on continuing to play with. Anyways, thanks for reading all this if you did. And if you're out there writing your own stories. Or if you have a cast that you want to write a lot of stories with, think carefully about how scalable your toolbelt is. Highly specific tools work fine for the specific scenarios you need them in, but more general tools give you a greater range of flexibility.
