The future of "A Universe of Bloody Evolution" and other projects

As some of you might remember from the AN in the last AUOBE chapter, I announced that we are getting very close to the ending of book 4. That's why I decided to make this post discussing what will happen next, and not only for AUOBE.

First, let me state that once book 4 of AUOBE ends on Patreon, I won't be writing any more chapters for it. So, unfortunately, there is no instant release of Book 5. Why? A couple of reasons, some of which I already discussed when I announced the change of update schedule some time ago.

Still, to give you a TL;DR: Low views on new chapters on Royalroad. Weak performance on Patreon for a story that is now almost 3 years old (Caused by the many mistakes I made in the past). Burn out after writing it almost constantly for the last year. Those are the most important reasons.

Does this mean the end of AUOBE? No, I don't think so.

For now, I would just like to put this story on the side and see if the views on RR will catch up after the end of book 4. Also, in a few months, AUOBE will be hitting Amazon, and I really want to see how it performs there. Who knows, maybe this will be the second wind this story needed for a long time now. Until then, though, I will be putting AUOBE on hiatus.

I'm really sorry... And I know this will mean a lot of you will leave, but that's fine. I'm still very thankful for all the support you have shown me. Without you, I simply wouldn't be here, and I hope that one day we will see each other again, be it here or in the comments on RoyalRoad.

Now, with the worst part behind us, let me speak about the future. After all, I am not planning to disappear.

First, we have Virus that was just released 2 weeks ago. Here on Patreon, it's close to the end of book 1 (Like 10-15) chapters away. This should be done in another 2-3 weeks. After that, I will instantly start posting book 2. No pauses, so new subscribers, no worries. However, starting next week, the release schedule will be going down from 7 chapters per week to 5 chapters per week. I plan to, however, increase the number of chapters for Patrons ( to maybe 35) if Virus continues to perform as it does. We will see, though.

Other than that, I have plenty of ideas for new stories, two of which I really want to write. More details about that in the future.

All right, so that's pretty much it... Again, thank you all again for being here. Oh! And for those curious if they should unsubscribe now because AUOBE is ending, I can tell you that we have about 3 to 6 chapters left. Do what you want with this information.
