I’ve recently finished reading Adastra and loved it, so I figured I’d recreate my favourite scene from the VN. (Obviously *spoilers* for those that haven’t read it!)

So some of you who’ve read the story are probably wondering why this was my favourite scene, knowing the context behind it. Simply: because it surprised me. That’s right! Not because it’s p*rn! Lol!

I don’t get surprised when reading a story, watching a movie/show, or playing a game. Ever. I almost always know how everything’s going to happen, what sort of events will play out and why, and almost always how everything will end, usually before I even hit the halfway mark. And while Adastra was no different in the sense that I had already figured everything out way before I was finished with it, it did manage to blindside me with this scene, and for that, I’m really grateful! I don’t remember the last time a story genuinely surprised me.

It’s also for that reason that I absolutely LOVE Neferu! His involvement was the most surprising thing about it! I know a lot of people disliked him after this scene, but I fell in love with his character instantly! He’s the most interesting player in the whole story, in my opinion.
