Caught between a soft and a hard place
Added 2023-07-19 01:09:17 +0000 UTCA group of studying demonologists managed to summon their first (and last) demon, and a Greater Demon at that! Azazel. Unfortunately, they had accidentally flubbed up the binding spell and none of them noticed, but the demon did.
They had many questions for him, and Azazel played along, answering all of them:
Is there an afterlife? “Yes.”
Can demons really grant supernatural power to mortals? “For a price.”
Are Angels real too? “Unfortunately…”
Do demons really come from hell?
Azazel, already having secretly cast his spell of corruption, simply smiled and said, “Would you like a tour…?”
Of course they all agreed enthusiastically, the spell, while not outright controlling their minds, dampened their ability to reason. If they had, they might have found it odd that another Greater Demon, Be’elzebub, just so happened to be waiting for them the moment they stepped through Azazel’s portal…
