SA: The game. Dev Diary 012 (Summary) (Sorry for the Delay ><)

DEV DIARY 12

The first thing we’re going to see in June’s Dev Diary is the new button on the main menu; INTRO! We’ll see what’s going on there in a while, but here’s what else is new:

In the Power Girl Booth, Sabu’s also added on a little info button that’ll teach new players the basic controls of the game, which we’re all familiar with at this point (I hope - Red). This is acting as the foundation for a more comprehensive tutorial, to be added to once we’ve gotten more in the game.

Aside from the vaginal animations, we now have anal! A big breakthrough for us - and a pain in the ass for Power Girl. As with vaginal, anal has three different speeds. In addition, there’s a new climaxing animation with a proper cumshot and cum! This is still a work in progress - the cum animation is pretty quick. The idea here is that Power Girl’s chest will get messier and messier as the clients come and go (wink wink) and this will get even messier by the ‘full release’ of the game, with not just more cum on the subject but also the bed and booth area. The towel will also be able to clean her up, at the client’s request. More to come next month!

Sabu does a little digression on animation fatigue when it comes to working on the Booth Area, and how most of the work is fixing and adjusting the base animation, working through bugs etc. so this created a lot of fatigue, leading to Sabu deciding on working on other aspects of the game before he comes back to the Booth Area.

Which leads us to the Intro button he teased earlier, showing us the early build of the Sex Arcade Game’s introduction, giving us a framing and background for the main character in the form of a semi-animated comic that Sabu’s been working on this month, going from frame to frame. It's to be noted though that the dialogue and even the comic itself is not final; Sabu’s still got to finalize all of it.

Up next: The Shopkeeper! She’s the NPC that handles all the stuff the player needs to buy, and Sabu’s got four options for what she might look like. Voting is up on the Patreon page and we’re looking forward to seeing what you want!

Another aspect of the game Sabu worked on is the codex, where the player can access information about the world of the Sex Arcade, something that Sabu is eager to share with us. So far we’ve got the Subject Room, which shows a typical ‘cell’ used to house a Subject. Little worldbuilding aspects such as this will be included for those who want to see more lore about the Sex Arcade universe.

Oh, and Sabu’s very sorry for not being able to complete the Associate Avatars because he loved doing the comics so much. So hopefully you all enjoyed the comic! (I certainly did - RedFred)
