Important iOS App Payment Changes
Added 2024-08-18 18:00:04 +0000 UTCFor anyone who uses the Patreon iOS app, starting November 2024, Apple is removing alternative payment methods through the Patreon iOS app. When they do this, Apple takes a significant cut and to mitigate this, Patreon is implementing a higher fee to make purchases through the iOS app.
This does not affect any of your current memberships, but if you cancel your subscription and wish to subscribe again later or make a tier change, you'll be charged more to do so through the iOS app.
Instead, you can make your tier changes or restart memberships through the website or Android app and the membership prices will be the same.
We're sorry about this and frustrated that this is happening, but we wanted to let you know how to get around these changes.
