Diaries from Thailand p.1-5
Added 2025-03-14 18:00:10 +0000 UTCThis trips diary comic is a bit different than what I usually do. I won't even call it a comic really, more like sketch pages with text.
While I love doing comics on my trips it also takes quite a while and brain power to draw a page a day. Finding out how the layout should look etc. takes time. I wanted to relax a bit more this time so I took pictures throughout the day (as one do when they are out and about) and then I sat for 1 hour ish and drew when we were relaxing in the hotel room anyway. And I actually really like how it looks!
I didn't sketch beforehand, just grabbed a fine liner and started. Sometimes I got really close to the picture and other times it was very off. But no one but me knows how It's supposed to look, so it's all okay.
I managed to make 13 pages and I'll post them over 3 rounds. It's a bit tedious removing the danish text, cleaning up the page and then adding English text so I'll take my time.
It was a great trip and I hope you think it's fun to look at some of the items I came across meanwhile! Have a nice day!
