Yeah, the shock and emotion we all could've had when we witness his last moments - no matter how it all goes down - would have been richer and deeper, I think. I'm sure AMC knew Andy Lincoln's departure as a member of the cast would eventually leak to the public, so maybe they wanted to preemptively take action? IDK. Feels spoiled to me I guess.

Daryl: *distracts, plots, and leads Rick away from task. Then starts fight and they tumble into pit* Rick: What were you thinking?!!!! Daryl: Not my fault..... Lame... lol

2018-10-29 23:42:07 +0000 UTCI keep watching the show, but damn AMC, you've told us about Rick's last episode so many times with countdowns and promos that when he was impaled I was just like "yeah, of course... this will drag out through next episode." I wasn't even phased. We all know his last scenes are coming in one way or another. :-|
