Tag Team (Finally PUBLIC!)

Basil, a leafeon, and Velvet, an espeon have been inseperable since they've hatched together. In the wild they form a perfect tag team, with Basil providing the defense as Velvet prepares offense. This has made them unmatched in the wild. It's a synergy that even affects their biological processes, as I've seen them sharing heat together. That's where my research volunteers come in. One particular researcher has taken great strides to study these two, with great success as well, documenting their behavior during mating seasons with more coverage than I know what to do with.
One particular day, they approached him, seemingly aware of his presence around them the whole time. They knew they were able to take him down if he lunged at him, and they knew they could run if he had a pokemon, but they approached him before he could get close himself. This mating season was different, for he was the closest male for once.
All that waiting, the wanting, all comes to head near the river bank where Basil and Velvet are sure to claim another mate.
