The Earliest Ringwell Document
Added 2019-06-24 19:57:58 +0000 UTCAt least, the earliest one I got. I was never a "write it down on paper" dude. This probably started as a document on my Apple IIgs. There's a lot more outline work done after this that describes the different sections and levels but don't think there's some huge dungeon with tons of maps. I've designed a couple of levels, but mostly I just grabbed existing dungeons and monkeyed with them and called them Ringwell.
Anyway, I thought this would be a cool little Patreon reward thingy.

Love the fake-out dungeon. Love the Colville screw at the bottom and the ruins turned back into finery! Shows me how in dungeon design SPACE = STORY.

2019-06-27 22:15:15 +0000 UTCI imagine there would be more than a few moans when the players find out they have to fight their way out. I think that would be an interesting challenge though for the right group of players. But I always raise an eyebrow when I look back through some of my old notebooks wondering why anyone had a good time in the campaigns I ran. The stuff seems bonkers and random.
