Lovely stuff, but you'll get the C64 fanboys waving their pitchforks at you for saying the C64 wouldn't be able to do anything like it, haha. I did actually check and there have been Wolfenstein and Doom ports to the the C64 but they've all relied on some sort of modded hardware like Super CPU along with RAM and storage expansions. So yeah, I think your statement will hold up, especially given how playable The Dark is. It's incredible really.
