2024-09-08 15:39:29 +0000 UTCWhen I read this manga chapter, I thought it was good - it was definitely memorable and was looking forward to seeing it animated. That said, it's not one of my 10 favorite chapters in the manga. But what the producers did for Melt's redemption completely blew the manga chapter out of the water. While I don't see it as a top 10 chapter in the manga, (at least as of right now) it's easily a top 5 episode in the anime, up there with the series premiere and Egosurfing (Akane's suicide attempt). The crazy thing... this is just an appetizer for the rest of the arc. It's why this arc is widely viewed as the best in the series.

2024-08-08 04:08:01 +0000 UTCAlong with Melt's episode being so good, i read the manga and somehow this season is making me like Ruby quite a lot when she was never my favorite. And she's barely in it yet. The team doing this show are pulling this show even higher than the manga.
