When this sequel first came out and I saw it was called "Simba's Pride" and continued with his daughter, I thought "Pride" could be the lions, but Simba's pride is also his daughter.

And well as kids, we love what is ours π so I have some sentimental feelings towards the movie. But also I do really love it. I feel its one of the good old Disney movies that is a sequel π

2025-05-03 07:50:18 +0000 UTCAs an '89 child I remember growing up on the Lion King and being so excited to watch the sequel. But I gotta admit that The Lion King 1.5 is my kids favorite out of the three of them. I might agree. Or at least it's a stronger sequel than than this one imo.
