2017-05-13 14:15:10 +0000 UTCI bet Rod read the piece on Vance and saw Rothman as someone he could trust. With Rod, we read him and wonder "who hurt you?" Rothman found out and told us why, making the profile's sponginess, and maybe even the entire JD Vance piece, all worth it. So while I loved this episode I disagree that Rothman should have written more about Rod's horrible views. To get details like "who hurt you?" you need good access to the subject, and the next subject won't give good access if you made the last one look bad, rightfully or not.
