Jim, who is Fenris and why is he the bane of your life?

I know Mr Butcher has gone through some personal life things(via him disclosing on social media) that's stopped him from churning books out left and right Sanderson style. But with those and other fantasies getting hiatus' for round about similar reasons how is it getting back into writing after a long hiatus (ex Scott lynch, rothfuss) vs writing back to back as before?
