Pippin was definitely D tier for me. Sure he sings a good song, and he moves the story along, but he only moves the story along by fucking things up mega. Hello, Mine of Moria, Saruman's palantir, throwing rocks into the monster lake, etc. How much easier would the whole journey have been if he had stayed at home.
