Read the prototype but you don’t have to make a video for it on its own just say your thought on it in the next video and for the next video read through this mini arc called the lost children arc

I wonder how it will be for you to record each chapter individually and then stitch together multiple chapters to fill a general episode length (for smaller chapters) so that you are dedicating as much time as is needed to give a full digest of what you are experiencing as you progress.

I know that a lot of people have told you to stop at "back ally boy" but I can't ,in good conscience, condone that. I have read this series forward and back several times and I know you're going to be kicking yourself for glossing over some of the stuff that happens in this section later. The best thing would be to stop at "flower of the stone castle" then the next volume entirely (11 chapters). More happens in the next 6 chapters that you can break down, analyze, and theorize than in what you just reviewed. Yes, people will be upset that you're going so slow but your Berserk review series as a whole will be all the better for it.

I wasn't really one of your followers, just checked some videos you had on some books or a few random ones, but I am a huge Berserk fan and these reviews are lots os fun, thanks for the content.

I have nothing to add except a suggestion that after this upcoming arc it may be worth it to revisit the first volume briefly to see some of the foreshadowing that was expertly placed in the first arc.

Your info is outdated, Deluxe volume 12 is coming out soon, so the first 36 out of 40 released volumes are covered by the Deluxe Volumes.

Let's be honest Vol 12 comes out in November and at the pace Daniel is reviewing this the Deluxe Editions may have caught up by the time he needs them.

If there are 3 in one, it's more than 18. it's 33 volumes worth.

Also, important note- you say "we've reached the midpoint of the released Berserk series". Are you aware that the Deluxe Editions only cover the first 18 out of the 40 released volumes?

I just want to say that you pointing out that berserk putting emotions above the narrative is absolutely spot on, and PURPOSEFUL. Miura famously said that he would compare berserk more to a shoujo manga (manga aimed at girls) than a seinen (manga aimed at men) or a shonen (manga aimed at boys or young adults). Saying that in seinen logic governs emotion, where as in shoujo emotion governs logic. So just wanted to let you know that you’re getting the absolute right read on things.
