I missed the post earlier, but, FYI, sent a copy of "The The Outstretched Shadow by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory to your P.O. Box via Amazon. Was (c. 2003) my introduction to "hard" magic with rules. Wheel of Time followed! Best Bill

2023-04-19 20:55:06 +0000 UTCYou should consider reading hells paradise. It has a very compelling story, interesting characters, and actually has plenty of interesting Japanese folk lore and religious symbolism. All in a battle royale style mystery manga. One of my favorites for sure
