Hide the game on Steam:

I have been asked this question several times and hope that the following options will work.

In the Edit menu, click the My Privacy Settings option. Click on the Game Details status—this will display a drop-down menu with various options. In the Game details menu, set your game privacy to Private. Your friends will no longer be able to see the games in your Steam account or elsewhere.

Can friends see hidden games on Steam?

After hiding games from Steam chat, your friends won't be able to see what you are playing now.

How do I hide my activity on Steam?

In the Privacy Settings window, find the My Profile entry and click the drop-down menu near the Game Details. Then choose Private from the drop-down menu, which will set the Game Activity to Private. You can check if the above steps successfully hide your Steam activity from private settings.
