I saw it Thursday Dee! I loved it ! I recommend seeing it in 4DX It was my first experience seeing a movie in that and it was crazyπ. The movie keeps you on your toes from beginning to end. Wondering whoβs the killer. As a scream fan Iβm rating this as the 3rd best scream in the franchise. And spoiler one of the OGβs do die π₯Ί I screamed when you called Neve Campbell naomi ππ€£π©π. The girl that looked familiar was the little girl sister that owns the apartments in the Netflix show called You , Jenna Ortega. 2021-12-29 21:50:34 +0000 UTCOh, Dee, nah. If youβve seen Ready or Not, those are the same directors behind this movie and theyβre fucking great. The trailer is intentionally misleading, this is not gonna be a rehash of the same stuff AT ALL. The girl with the βDrew Barrymore sceneβ allegedly doesnβt even die in the opening like how 2 people usually die in every opening of the previous Scream movies. Hence why Dewey says βthere have been 3 attacksβ in the trailer instead of 3 murders. So, yeah, theyβre doing different stuff. Though I wouldnβt expect you to keep up with the behind-the-scenes/Easter eggs we get leading up to the release. But I think youβd be pleasantly surprised with what the movie has to offer when it comes out.

I love Scream though so I'm definitely going to go see it but I know what you mean though about recycling ideas, there are lot of sequels to old horror movies next year actually; Scream, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, Jeepers Creepers. Hollywood definitely doesn't have a lot of new ideas.
