Hi Bexa thanks for your reaction to Lovebites I don't have a lot of personal knowledge of them and I'm still learning about them when I can but here is a description of them from a YouTube commenter that is very accurate from my research about the Hammer of Wrath video (the first song) @TonyM-o2i 8 hours ago Welcome to Lovebites. This is the opening song from their 'comeback' concert, the first of 2 over 2 evenings, in March 2023. They had been on a hiatus for most of the previous 2 years due to Covid, the original bassist and founder of the band Miho leaving for personal reasons (not least the untimely death of her father some months earlier) and two members having babies. It is the first time on stage with the band for new bassist 20-year-old Fami, and her first concert in front of an audience of this size. Her ear-to-ear grin shows how much fun she was having. The band line up for this concert. Asami, Vocals and piano. She trained as a Ballet Dancer, which she had to give up due to her size, there are not many roles for a 1.47-meter-tall ballerina, becoming a Jazz and R&B singer before joining Lovebites. She writes many of the lyrics for the band and sings in English, not easy for a native Japanese speaker. She does have a strong Japanese accent that some people have a problem with, but it becomes easier with familiarity. Haruna, Drums. Named "Little BIG Engine" by the other band members due to her powerful, precise playing and her small size, smallest amongst a group of small Ladies at only 1.45 meters tall (4' 9") She was previously with Miho in the band DESTROSE which broke up in 2015 and was the first to join her in the new band. Midori, ESP Guitars. The blond 'Amazon Warrior 'Crazy Shredder' A fitness and body building enthusiast. Those muscles are real Miyako, Dean and Gibson Guitars, Piano and Keyboards. The 'serious' one with long black hair. A classically trained pianist who composes much of the music, often incorporating classical themes into her compositions. Think of her as a Classical Pianist who also plays Guitar in a Heavy Metal band. Fami, Freedom and Bacchus Bass Guitars. The youngest and newest member, joining when still at university. She was already a experienced musician, having written and recorded and album and she has a YouTube channel with nearly 700,000 subs. Check her video 'Alien Alien Bass Cover' recorded when she was still at high school. Both guitarists play lead, swapping lead and rhythm seamlessly as required and playing amazing synchronized dual solos. One of the best guitar duos I've ever heard in nearly 60 years going to live music gigs. The fan base around the world is known as The Wolfpack 🐺
