Shinji Higuchi (namesake of that very Shinji from Evangelion?) style of CGI in these Shin Universe trilogy of movies is something very new and refreshing to me. Like the whole "cgi godzilla to look like a more believable man in a rubber suit" thing. And not shying away from nostalgic, goofy looking stuff, or stuff where you can see the seams. Was super inspiring!
I am gonna see it again tomorrow.
Btw did you see the Gnome on Mars painting by WizardsOnly? Incredible, the gnome is on Mars!
