Animate RGB FX image Tutorial

A lot of fun to explore Resolume FX ! This is another great and simple technique to animate vector shapes if you don't have a lot of time to render videos. It only requires one PNG image file and a color palette assigned in Illustrator. With a set of Resolume effects, you can then animate the image, which is fun!

watch the tutorial here: https://youtu.be/wE-gRty9tPs

download tutorial files: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pQbepHKQ-GP8oWq-DPmbz7ECK8J8aXRs

This Zip was packed under C:\ If you copy this folder to a different location please use Resolume Media Manager to relocate files. I used Resolume Arena 7.20.1 to save the composition.

You can then create a set of images and simply copy and paste these set of effects. Copy a clips, select a new one, right click paste effects or apply the effects to a whole layer !

Note: I noticed that for some effects, like Chroma Key, certain areas don't look perfect because of the alpha channel. I eliminate the alpha channel by adding a Mirror Effect after Chroma Key, and enabling Black BG. This trick significantly improves the result.

It’s also recommended to remove the alpha channel before applying an Edge Detection effect, as it enhances the appearance of the edges.

FrameBlend is a great effect that is similar to Trails but better. It interpolates your frames, which works well when transforming clips and mixing frames. You have different settings, like MAX, to smooth your animations while maintaining full color.
