dual Projectors wide screen
Added 2025-02-21 16:25:02 +0000 UTCThis is just a quick tutorial due to a request. I can provide a more detailed workflow if needed.
We have two projectors (1920x1080px) and want to combine them into one widescreen projection.
If you donβt have a pixel map of your stage or custom stage visuals , you can simply use the Resolume Test Card to blend both screens together. Skip to step 5.
If you do want to create a pixel map of your stage, follow these steps:
1) Take a photo from the projectorβs position.
2) Clean it up in Photoshop: center, crop, mirror (if possible), scale, and remove distortion (make it flat).
3) Load this pixel map into Resolume.
4) Setup the composition width and height matching your pixel map.
5) In the Advanced Output, create two screens with one slice for each screen. One slice is the left half of the composition, the other is the right half.
6) Make the two slices overlap slightly for edge blending. Activate edge blending in the slice settings.
7) Now you can warp both screens separately.
I made a quick recording. For this demonstration, I set both outputs to Spout 1920x1080 to simulate two projectors:

this is an example of a pixel map which I made for HILLTOP Festival 2025. It is 3600x1040px (I was lucky to mirror it) this is the cleaned up photo with a black mask already applied.
