I watch the entire show every couple years, it just gets better and better through the seasons, even non-football fans like it (also shot in the town I live in (Austin!)) so fun to see local spots. I think I like the Michael B Jordan seasons the most.

2023-12-08 20:58:10 +0000 UTCI think this is a great watch, both as a drama but also for more insight into the culture of American football from high school into college, football in general/in its most pure form: local high school football. This show is so realistic to the town I grew up in.

2023-12-07 19:00:47 +0000 UTCMost of the characters in this are not directly pulled from the movie. A lot of the events are also completely unrelated. Some of the characters carryover, but more so it’s the branding. Also, the screen writing will be a little bit choppy throughout the series. The series is interrupted multiple times by writers and Director strikes. It’s like the little engine that could, the series just wouldn’t quit, and it kept coming back.
