love this episode, but it's also a prime example of why my husband refers to fnl as "your [my] underage drinking and statutory rape show." i'm sure someone has mentioned it, but scott porter (street), zach gilford (saracen), and actress mae whitman have a rewatch podcast called it's not only football. when discussing this episode, scott gives a detailed explanation of how teams for quad rugby are fielded, and it involves some math in that each player is assigned a number of points between 0.5 and 3.5 based on their functionality (street and herc would each be a 3.5), and the total points for the four players a team has on the court at any time can't exceed 8.0. so, in addition to street's limited wheelchair experience, that would be another factor in deciding whether he makes the team. and i'm sure someone has also mentioned clear eyes full hearts, hosted by derek phillips (billy riggens) and stacey oristano (mindy collette). both podcasts are great and would be worth a listen after you've finished the show. 🙂

Yeah its similar here in the UK if you live in small remote villages. You would not see this in big cities though.

Loving the content every week! Good set up episode this one, for a lot to come. It’s not out of character in the USA for neighbors in small towns, or even decent sized suburbs, to give a house key to a neighbor. I’ve never lived in a place as small and remote as what Dillon is made out to be, but I can’t remember a time growing up (lived in NY, NJ, CT, MD) where a neighbor didn’t have a house key our ours. Big cities, no way, but anywhere else I think it’s pretty standard.
