The moment when Akane closes her eyes behind Aqua and you watch her don Ai's entire characterization in a few moments is absolutely enthralling and chilling in the same fell swoop. And after Aqua has proven right so many times about everything he says throughout the show it was such a cool switch-up for him to so confidently think "Ai isn't someone you can imitate - you're born with it." only for Akane to prove him wrong to such a terrifying degree... the transformation was so perfect and harsh that even Aqua, who generally is pretty emotionless, looks absolutely shocked. You aren't ready for the next episode :)

2024-09-24 05:57:16 +0000 UTCI use animepahe.ru (works in the uk) for anything that isn't on Crunchyroll. I've tried tons of other sites but none have come close to animepahe. I second hianime.to though. It's pretty good but i'm not a fan of their style of subtitles. If neither of those work then you can just go to the megathread on r/piracy in the anime and then streaming section. That always has about 30 websites that you can stream from that have been reviewed and approved by the mods of the subreddit.

Then I got 2 more but I personally haven't tried them because I'm still using animetake so I have them as a back up, aniwatchtv.to and hianime.to Hope any of those work

2024-09-18 07:50:10 +0000 UTCThat ending is my favorite moment/reveal of the show so far. Very well executed. The timing of Akane’s background as a theater actress is important for a few reasons. It not only provides context to her obsessive study of Ai to learn how to develop her character, but it helps the audience better understand how she has behaved on the reality show up until now. As a theater actress, she’s completely out of her element doing a reality show. She wasn’t even given the advice to not completely be herself and to create a persona until after the incident. Once she got that advice, and has put in the work to create her persona, she much more in her comfort zone like she would be on stage.

2024-09-17 13:15:09 +0000 UTCAkane is an actress that people would say does method acting but actually I think she does the Stanislavsky Technique where they do psychological exercises that were designed to help performers give more convincing performances by fully embodying a character, imagining and adopting the character’s traits and mannerisms in the process. Technically the Stanislavsky Technique is the forefather of method acting with some differences because method acting would of never existed without Stanislavskys teachings.
