2024-10-03 04:26:13 +0000 UTCThe GPD helicopters were rented from the company I worked for. My boss and I alternated flying them to the set in downtown Chicago. Since insurance required a company pilot to be in the aircraft, we flew along with the stunt pilots and operated the search light. We did some other production work around Chicago during the heyday of Film and TV production here including TV's Prison Break and a Dark Knight inspired music video from The Frey for their song "You Found Me". I flew the camera ship for that one and was surprised at how many of our shots were used.

2024-09-24 00:57:17 +0000 UTCReminder that in the last movie Rachel said that the Bruce she loved disappeared 7 years ago, and only Batman came back. The implication is that as long as Bruce is the Batman, Rachel won't choose be with him, because he's married to his job. Harvey Dent as a DA goes after crime as stubbornly as Batman does, but through proper legal means, so Bruce hoped that he could retire Batman and leave things to Dent, the White Knight. Doing that would have let Rachel know that he's just Bruce Wayne again. But the Joker broke Harvey by killing Rachel, so he went grimdark and blamed Gordon and Batman, and we know how that turned out.
