Just to clarify seijoh did win a set against shiratorizawa, oikawa said himself they finally got a set off them back at the end of season 1 at the inter high qualifier final. He was super frustrated because despite finally achieving that they still lost.

We do not know if Seijoh won a set against shiratorizawa, but I am sure that Oikawa, Iwaizumi and the other guys won a set against Shiratorizawa with Ushijima on there when they were in middle school in Kitagawa Daichi. I think it was shown on ep 22 or 23 in season 1 when Oikawa had his flashbacks with Kageyama. That was also the tournament where Oikawa won the best libero award.

2025-01-17 15:05:21 +0000 UTCYou are right about the nickname stuff but you got the name wrong the nickname is "ushiwaka" his fullname is ushijima wakatoshi so "ushi" from ushijima and "waka" from wakatoshi hence ushiwaka. Also the historic figure name was "ushiwakamaru" and his servant was benkei hence the nickname. Hope i explained it 😅
