(The audio of this movie is really low but the music is really loud lol so we tried to balance it a bit for you guys)

I watched "Look Back" last week for the first time.. to me it felt strange, in a good way, of course. That feeling reminded me in some way of the feeling i had when i watched "5 centimers per second" for the first time. It is hard to describe. I guess it just hits different is the best way to describe it.

There are a lot of references to chainsaw man like the door being painted by Kyomoto is the first panel of chainsaw man and the Shark Kock manga is similar because this was written by Fujimoto the author of chainsaw man 3. The girls names combined is Fujimoto name FUJIno and kyoMOTO 4. My personal take on the title is that this is a story from Kyomoto to Fujino so she never gives up again and to remember to look back not just at what she lost but what she gained

As for inspiration, Fujimoto published this on the second anniversary of the Kyoto Animation arson attack. Not sure if he personally knew anyone there but it was definitely tied to the emotions surrounding that tragedy.
