He has to "Fall in love" with Nazuna, sure. But what determines that line? We have seen many thoughts/ideas floating around in his head that are widely considered to be the signs and/or symptoms of a burgeoning romance... yet she bites him every night and hasn't had any changes yet. When you reflect on this it kind of speaks to the idea that love is kind of a bit "undefined" where it starts, to a certain point. My theory, when I watched the show the first time, was that while he is the one who has to fall in love with her... it's by her definition of love. Not that she has to return that love... just that he has to love her the way she sees love. Which adds an interesting factor in that Nazuna seems pretty aromantic to the point that she doesn't even like people talking about it. I think this theory also address' one of the details that many don't talk about much which is "*why* doesn't Nazuna have other offspring?" Just wanted to share some fruit-for-thought. There's another tangent off of these thoughts, but... well... I wanna save it for a later episode or when ya'll think to ask it yourselves :)
