Since I mentioned before, I’ll give you some extra lore to make certain scenes in the show more meaningful: From the books that Watari brings her, the book that Kaori picks up is one that Kousei has read (she sees that his name’s there on the library card and that’s probably what caught her interest) called “Alliance of the Fifteens”. The anime will refer to this book a couple of times in the future and I’ll mention the important bits to know when those episodes come. For now all you need to know is that the book is about a group of three school kids; a sick girl, a pianist, and a baseball player.
