2023-07-23 21:24:45 +0000 UTCMy mom owned the sign company (Sign Factory) in Bethlehem, PA that did the sign work for the Just Born Candy Co. - the company that created the Peeps. She used to get loads of free candy from them. One time she caught me letting my Peep melt in my coffee and she yelled at me for, "Cruelty to Peeps." Good times man. I think one of the Just Born big wigs was at her funeral. There was a line out the door and I didn't know everyone. But it was nice to know that when I think of those awful marshmallows I get to think of my mum.
