2025-08-24 06:39:35 +0000 UTCA bit of context for Megumin: Her introduction "Waga na wa Megumin" uses archaic pronoun waga, so if adapted it would be something like "Mine name beest Megumin", and "Megumin" sound like childish/cute version of common japanese name Megumi, which dissonates with first part of her introduction. That's why Kazuma mocked her name. And her parents names also ridiculous: no one will call their child Yuiyui, it can only be used as nickname or something and Hyoizaburoo is very old name you can maybe hear in historical samurai show, but never in modern world

In the first episode Kazuma pushed the girl to save her and nothing happened to her but in the light novel, she broke her leg after he pushed her. Also, i heard that the cast did some ad-libs, making the show even funnier.

2025-08-19 14:09:59 +0000 UTCSeason 1 had two different directors (I think art directors?) they alternated on episodes and one liked his female characters to show more "jiggle" so be prepared. 6:30 The toads are immune to water magic and blunt force attacks but vulnerable to sharp edge or pointy attacks, so the worst opponent for Aqua. remember her horrible luck? Here's it in action. Money conversion 1 Eris = 1 Yen so that 110,000 would be about 1100 USD to be split 3 ways. Kazuma mentioned after the first day it wasn't even as much money as they made as day labor.
