Mom deserves the "best supporting character" award hands down, which you'll definitely agree with in the coming episodes. Once you get to episode 5, there are after-credit goodies to look forward to! The manga has only been around for just under 4 years now (October 21, 2021), and the anime is currently airing, but they hold the #3 and #8 ranks, respectively, for the Romance genre on MyAnimeList. The manga and anime rank #31 and #69, respectively, overall, which I think is amazing considering the small but growing audience, as well as the short time it's been out. Call it glazing if you must, but I genuinely think this is the greatest Romance in all manga/anime.
