Undeath Ghost

The way they write demon dialogue in this show is so fascinating man. When "The Sword Demon" replied to Frieren's questioning of the choice to eat humans... it says "Why is that a reason NOT to eat humans?" From their perspective it's like choosing to eat a Fine Steak vs a fast food burger. Just because you can eat the other doesn't mean that's a reason not to eat the former. Very interesting

Just to put into perspective how unreasonable the request from Graf Dach was back when Frieren was traveling with Himmel, she said they found it on the Schwer Mountains after not being any direction or leads. The Schwer mountains are the mountains Frieren & Co crossed back in episode 11-12. It's where the Village of the Sword is. They met Kraft at the foot of the mountains and decided it's to dangerous to cross them in winter and stayed there for 6 month. That's how far they had to travel back south to find the Sword.

Now if it was a spell that turned green apples into red apples we'd be cooking.

13:13 Stark was scared of the snake because he was bitten by one in episode 13. Their venom melts your brain in a matter of hours, and Stark had to be healed by Sein because Frieren didn't know how to treat it.

The 7 Sages of Destruction: Three were killed by the Hero of the South. Two were killed by the Hero Party. These two were actually name dropped in the last episode of season 1. Two escaped - out of which Aura killed herself and another we haven't been introduced to get in the Anime. Schlacht isn't one of them but a close aide who can see into the future. Qual was an Elder Sage of Corruption.

Stark playing a demon with the kids in the Hero village was cute.

Impressive in an understatement for the Hero of the South. He went 8 on 1 with the 7 Sages and the demon king's right hand man. And he still managed to kill 4 of them (right hand + 3 sages). He's a monster in his own right.

Hero of the south reminds me of Luthen from Andor, "I burn my life for a sunrise I know I'll never see." How brave do you have to be to walk into a fight you know you are going to die in. Not just suspect, you KNOW you are going to die brutally,

Shucks
