Yeah. I also love that they show us that the anime department is also just over-correcting because they know Abiko-sensei is "difficult" even though in actuality we find out that she basically auto-approves cosplayers unless their being disrespectful... and a relatively well known fact in anime, that in more modern anime media the character design is intentionally made in such a way that it's very cosplay-able.

We know Aqua can figure shit like this out very easily... he knows Ruby's been acting rather unusual recently. Now this happens and she's somehow the centerpiece for it's solution? I'm so glad that it was IMMEDIATE. Aqua immediately goes to interrogate her. He was also noticably quieter and bantering less in the show than he usually is... because you could tell he was analyzing and processing everything happening and piecing it together.

Her acting is good but her ideas are coming from her emotionally strong arming the old president (the fishing guy) she said in the previous episode that he's a big part of Ai getting famous and she is basically forcing him to make her ideas to rise up the ranks

2026-01-29 07:12:06 +0000 UTCJust want to notice that, despite Director being trash and going hard on AD, the only reason they didn`t go with Tokyo Blade is because Anime Department didn`t want to deal with Abiko-sensei lol. Director sent a request to them and Abiko said that no licences are actually needed, so she wouldn`t have rejected them and it PROBABLY wouldn`t have lasted long. But anime department was like: "Ow, that`s Abiko who we have to ask, no way are doing that, let`s say "no" to director"

Even if she said something like "Meiya is aware of questions that you would ask and she is fine with it" or this sort of stuff, I wonder why then Director didn`t crush out on her afterwards. Really interested to see HOW it went. Edit: Also notice how Yoshizumi was surprised when Director came to the set. looked like he wasn`t aware of it at all. AND look how Director reacted to hearing that girl he saw was Meiya-san: "Ah, it`s you!" He basically sees her for the first time (apart her CV in ep2) + didn`t know what here costume would be like and approaches her so confidently. He didn`t decided to interview her on a whim, he came there only for it
