I feel like it's easy as viewers to give into the hype of action and revenge, it's entertaining, it's satisfying. There's plenty of media with that premise and that's fine. It's harder to let it go and let someone else finish it even if the job gets done. But then where does that leave you after? I think Ed and Scar especially had a lot of merit in their words. Like, sure, Mustang's revenge would be complete after killing Envy. But then, once he becomes leader of a nation, how would he handle future disagreements, fights, pushbacks, conflicts that would get too much? Would infuriate him to the point he'd just want to get rid of the problem? It wouldn't be difficult to form bad habits. Also Envy, RIP. My 2nd favorite sin, after Greed. Also, Hawkeye a real one that brought him down. A literal Ride or Die saying she'd die after shooting him if she needed to. And she absolutely would have. She basically said "I refuse to live in a world without you". That's way better than "i love you" tbh 🤣
