Update - So I've been having a bad day...

Hi Guys,

Just a quick update because I like to let you guys in on the ups and downs behind the scenes where I can!

Yesterday, both my handheld hot wire, and my glue gun, both broke, and today the delivery of the replacement hot wire (which I still need to complete a fair chunk of what I'm making) has been delayed by a few days.

This doesn't really change a great deal for you guys, the video will take as long to get made as it takes, and I'm MOSTLY managing to get stuff done out-of-order to keep the production moving.

What it did really bring home though, is how much I spend on equipment and supplies for the channel now I'm making things at a faster pace, and how invaluable your support has really become!

So I thought I'd make this post and say thank you. Again. Probably not gonna stop doing that anytime soon, words really can't express how much I appreciate your support.

Any of you guys have hit on similar snags recently? I could use some relatable stories to cheer me up πŸ˜…

Always at the worst times aren't they? πŸ˜…

This evening I was excited to begin construction of a new watchtower I intend to incorporate into my next D&D campaign I am hosting next week. I had it all set up. My table and tools, warm and ready to go, a fair stack of foam, forms and foil, paints, glues and a myriad assortment of templates. I was eager to begin, I put pen to paper, meticulously laying out the "structural" pieces. 1 hour into my project, power outage. Apparently, only my street was affected. Quite frustrating.

Ouch! Yeah I almost glued one of those wrong, and yeah, the angle cutter is easier if you have it to hand :)

My faux pas was assembling the shifting lands angle cutter. I thought I’d done everything correctly until I discovered that I’d glued the little shelf to the wrong side of the wall so when lined up with the base board the slot for the wire didn’t line up! By this point the glue was dry and firmly bonded so taking it apart to fix wasn’t an option. Expensive error as my solution was to purchase 2 attachments (multi-purpose cutting kit and saw) for my dremel so that I can cut a new slot! The attachments arrived late today so hopefully I can fix it tomorrow. The plan is to use the angle tool to neatly cut those interchangeable roof pieces for my stable. I’d tried moving my wire with protractor but it’s a hassle and this seems like a good solution.
