Even with the test tiles being bubbly, different colours and generally less than perfect, it STILL blends really well, especially in person, and the lines between tiles just melt away!
I am VERY happy with this, I honestly thought the lines would just be part of the build, a sacrifice to the god of modularity but nope! It just works :)

You can also simulate waves breaking along the shoreline with the clever application of toilet paper. Look up Marklinofsweden on YouTube for a particularly wholesome look into this technique.
