Early Photos and a little update :)

Hi Guys!

So I've spent the past two days getting the vast majority of the straightforward shots done - all the clips against a black background where I show something or poke something to demonstrate a point or show something I used :)

In amongst those were a few larger scale 'demonstrating' shots that weren't quite full builds, but were pretty enough to snap a quick photo and polish it up tonight to share with you all! ๐Ÿ˜€

Proper builds will be coming in the next few days, I've got the plug rewired on my new light, and HOPEFULLY, the expansion bolts I ordered for the wall mount will be ready to collect tomorrow...

If that's the case, I'm aiming to get that mounted. In theory it'll be a lot easier to use, I'll trip over it less and it should balance out the time it takes to set it up, while making getting perfect shots a lot easier as the light will be evenly spread, rather than bright in the front corner and dim in the distance :)

The new desk on the other hand is MIA until January, so I'm gonna stop now because my back is killing ๐Ÿ˜‚ new full build shots for you all soon!

OH! And I tried out that new monster rotate-y-m'bob I showed off in an update like a month ago - it's remote control, can carry a LOT bigger builds and has me excited to see what I can fit now ๐Ÿ˜

I didn't, I mainly chose these textures for maximum modularity :) you can add grass tufts and bushes magnetically though! Sand I considered, but ended up leaning away from as it felt too... Upbeat? For caves and volcanic regions ๐Ÿ˜„ there are obviously examples of sand in such places I just found it would kill the grim mood quite quickly! ๐Ÿ˜

Nice! Good to hear that the investment in the glorified microwave bottom turned out to be worth it :) Here's to hoping there will be no more issues with the desk once it finally arrives ๐Ÿคž Oh, and obviously the build is looking fab. I'm wondering, did you have time to experiment with different banks? E.g. sand, more grassy, more rocky? Excited to see the scenes anyway! :D
