Weekend Update

Well hey again~! It's me~! And I hope you've all had a lovely weekend (and Monday lol)

We've been good over here in Sparkle-Land, keeping sane & stayin' busy. I started the weekend off strong with this rockin' Boob Ross piece we did on Friday night:

We're calling it "the Lunasouls Boss Gate" :) I do love how the moon and the clouds turned out, though I wish I had gotten more detail in the foreground. Oh well, there's always next paint night~!

Saturday was a pretty mellow day. I did a little shopping, picked up the rest of the things I needed for the crab apple jelly I wanted to make, and then failed spectacularly at making crab apple jelly XD I definitely didn't get the ratio of crab apples to water to sugar right and it just tasted like sugary water with a slight hint of apple.... ah well. I'm gonna go pick some more and try again later this week! Now that I've figured out how *not* to make it, figuring out how to actually make it should be easy, right? XD

Sunday was just good vibes~ My hooman and I went out to my folks place for a little spontaneous visit, and ended up doing some target practice with the bows out in the big field! And I totally forgot my phone in the truck and didn't get a *single* picture XD XD XD One day I'll remember to take some photos for you lovelies.

As compensation, here's a pic of me doing a little archery on a different day:

Archery is definitely becoming my new favourite hobby, and I'm really trying to keep up with it after the "newness" and excitement wears off. I have a tendency to pick up a new thing, love it for a week or so, then drop it as soon as it's not new anymore. And I know I'm not the only one lol. I'm far from the only one with an extensive "hobby graveyard cluttering up my closets lmao.

Monday was very rainy and cold though, so no target practice :/ But I did get the upstairs all cleaned :) Swept, mopped, cleaned the shower etc... I would have used my fabulous drill brush set foley got for me, but the whole thing mysteriously vanished once hooman realized how good they were for auto detailing..... strange how these things happen....

Today is supposed to rain again. In fact, this whole week is supposed to by grey and rainy. Fall is definitely here :) I don't mind the dull weather, it gives me a chance to clean the house and start decorating for the spooky season~! I'll definitely be getting some pics for you lovelies of that whole adventure~! Plus, I found a whole bunch of really cute and really easy looking DIY projects for Halloween decorations I want to try. And again, I'll absolutely document that whole thing for all of us to enjoy~!!
