I wasn't terribly happy with this piece at first... but the more I colored it, and the more I added to it, the better it got. Once again, there's no shame in simple designs with a few colors. Added the decorative bandages really pulled it together, since it felt like something was missing at first. After hours of effort, it did indeed come together just fine.
