Monthly Checkup #3: The Struggle is Real...
Added 2021-03-16 06:09:27 +0000 UTCHey everyone! I'm back with another update. There's been a lack of uploads on here, but the continued support is appreciated. It makes me so happy that you're still here!
I don't have much news to say other than that I've been struggling with pretty severe demotivation, depression, and apathy towards art. I just don't want to draw anymore, and I'm tired of having to worry about making money or draw for a living. But we all know that no matter how hard we wish, we can't just wish to get money out of nowhere and not have to worry about anything. We live in a capitalist hellscape, after all! Hahaha... ha!
I'm pretty much out of options and don't know what to do... I take too many breaks as it is, so another break isn't the answer. But I really don't want to draw either. I guess I really do wish I got money for free, no questions asked... so I can take as many breaks as I need without worry, and without feeling so miserable.
It will take some time, but eventually I'll feel up to drawing again. This extended break is steadily increasing my motivation, if that's any consolation!

2021-03-16 07:48:02 +0000 UTCYou don't wanna draw anymore, but you can't take too many breaks either. Perharps you can do other bits of content and have drawing as more of a rare hobby instead. I wish I could help out, but can't as I don't know what other options are available to you, all I can say is that while yeah, its a struggle to stay motivated, you can't just do nothing either. Maybe this is the point to where you do something else, something different, maybe get a different job and put this patreon on hold till you have new motivation. Just a few thoughts really.
