Monthly Checkup #26: Tis the Season!

Hey fatties, how's it going? <3

Things are going fine somehow. How I feel about my art is up and down, and it might be time for me to draw something for myself or for someone else again. So hopefully, you'll see more art for a certain someone you know I love and have been friends with for a long time! They are basically my muse at this point.

I got a root canal. There's now one more tooth that needs it. I am waiting for a crown to be approved to the tooth that was worked on. When all of this is done, my dental health will be good!

I got a new gaming PC! I was sort of getting tired of just settling for entry level hardware and decided to go for something futureproof. Games such as Alan Wake 2, Lords of the Fallen, and Starfield pushed me to do it. This PC has a NVIDIA RTX 4070 12GB, AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5Ghz with an AIO cooler, 32GB of DDR5 RAM at 5200Mhz, and 2TB of SSD space. It's a very well built IBuyPower computer. I ran into some issues with it that were very likely nothing burgers, and some adjustments to the overclocking settings on the processor have worked out great. I was either hitting a thermal limit on the motherboard when the CPU was pushed and it was getting way too hot, or there is an instability issue with the AMD chipset being paired with the DDR5 RAM or my portable external USB SSD. The PC has been healthy and stable so far, despite it having natively overclocked RAM and CPU.
