"St. George and the Dragon : Confrontation" Hi Res Drawing
Added 2018-12-17 14:00:02 +0000 UTCFor this month's Classic Fantasy Illustration I am going to be going back to the St. George legend for inspiration. In my early work I always depicted him on foot, because let's be honest, horses are scary to draw.
I will be doing a few more St. George pieces in the coming year to explore other parts of the legend. The early images are being made for my 2018 Sketchbook which I hope to have printed in the next few months. I have all the sketches done for it, but would like 2 or 3 more color images to round out the book. Then later in 2019 I am working on a collaboration with a few other artists on the St. George series. I'm not ready to announce anything on that just yet, but will hopefully be revealing the project here on Patreon sometime in the Spring. Stay tuned!
