HAPPY NEW YEAR! Roadmap for 2020

First of all, WELCOME TO 2020!! 

We've got a lot of exciting things planned for this year, so let's dive right in:

• The biggest change this year is for the $5 Classic Fantasy Illustration tier. In 2019 we focused heavily on Plague of Dragons, and I'm excited to say that we have finished our first sketchbook for the series and we have sent it off to the printer! (Look for an announcement on the release date for it coming up soon) With that finished (for now), we are moving on to a new project for 2020: The Dungeon Master Series! Our goal for this new series is a set of 12 Prints and a Calendar that will release later in the year. We have 4 of the 12 illustrations finished so far, and I will be sharing the hi-res paintings, drawings, color comps, and development work for the series with you in real-time here as it is created! 

• The Monster of the Month Tier remains largely unchanged and continues to be our most reward-heavy sub level. This year we are continuing on our quest to hit at least 100 monsters before we launch the art book for the series. In the meantime we will continue to make brushes, animatics, and prints for our little villains. 

• The Order of the Gryphon Tutorials also remains largely unchanged, and in 2020 will have a special focus on the work done for the Dungeon Master Series. We now have 10 full tutorial guides finished, making for a solid body of work so far. I don't plan on taking any down, so if you've been waiting to jump in for a month to download them all, now is a great time! 

• Mentorships: We had an awesome time with them in 2019 and will continue offering them as long as there is interest! I will be opening up all the new spots later today!
• Livestreams?: Every month we start at over $1K I am committing to doing a livestream demo. To start, we will do some open Twitch streams, but may also do some community exclusive livestreams.
• Physical Rewards?:  They are coming! Likely in the form of a monthly care package containing mini-prints, stickers, cards and possibly pins. What's the hold-up??? I want to make sure I can keep up with a physical reward tier if I start one. Having toddlers has made me nervous about offering something as involved as fulfillment and shipping just now. That said, your support here has enabled my wife and I to hire some help for 2020 and my hope is that with this help, physical rewards WILL be possible. (So they are coming, I just can't say when specifically just yet!) 

There are some fine-tunings with the reward tier UI and descriptions you may notice, but in general I am leaving everything functionally the same for rewards in 2020. Expect a bigger overhaul later this year when we hit the 3 year mark on Patreon!  

Lastly, I just want to say how thankful I am for you all. I am only able to make this art because you are supporting it. I'd still be taking random commissions for forgettable books and shallow commercial ventures, spinning my wheels doing passionless art if not for you. It has been a dream come true to just go into the studio every day and paint for you guys. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!  Can't wait to see what we make in 2020!
