About the future

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've made a public post, but I think this time it's necessary, as I would like to inform about some changes I plan to make regarding the game as well as explaining some things that have happened recently.
Firstly, I'm sorry for taking so long this time to complete an update. Not only has it been due to the fact that I have made a lot of changes within the game, which I will talk about shortly, but I have also been having a lot of problems in my personal life for a while now. Because of this, it has been getting more difficult for me to bring a proper update, which affected both the content and the quality of the game.
Regarding the game, while I was making the last update, I realized that many scenes and animations were not as good as they could be or that there was not enough content. Also, the story of many characters was very rushed and when I reviewed them again, I was not happy with the result. So, I will dedicate the next updates to fixing and improving the existing in-game paths before moving forward with the rest of the stories to try to make them as good as possible.
This is largely my fault, as the release time of the updates has been increasing since the beginning, because I was too focused on making the content in time because of this I was unable to do all the things I wanted or the way I wanted. Because of this, I have not only had problems in the game, but also in my personal life, as making such a big game in my current situation was taking a toll on me.
So far an acquaintance who is a programmer has helped me for the more complicated programming things since I have never studied programming, and it is not something I am particularly good at, but this person can't help me full time without neglecting his responsibilities. Because of this, I have set some goals to be able to pay him fairly for his work and if it is possible in the future that he can dedicate full time to help me, this way I could focus entirely on the story and art of the game, greatly accelerating the speed of publication and quality. Of course, this doesn't mean that it's necessary to reach these goals to keep developing the game, just that if it's achieved it will be a great advancement for it.
That said, and while I would like to bring updates as soon as possible, if at some point it takes more time to release an update and because of that I have to delay it, I will do so, as my main goal is that this project is completed to the best of my abilities.
Lastly, I would like to say that I do not plan to abandon the game or game development unless there is a hindrance beyond my control. So even if it takes me longer to finish an update, that doesn't mean I'm not working on it.

This game is incredible and I am not surprised that it takes so long to release an update, the level of quality it has is very high. I'll be waiting for each update but remember to take breaks, we don't want you to have a spill XD Anyway, thanks for so much effort 💜

2023-02-23 23:34:43 +0000 UTCi mean, you are just 1.5 people, so yea itll take some time. take the time you need until you are happy with the result. most fellas here would say the same i believe. remember, you arent working for a ballbusting studio where you got deadlines, you release whenever you are happy with the update. so please dont bust your balls or destroy your passion, over the perceived pressure that you have to deliver something. Game Developement takes time.

That fact that you care more about the quality than how fast it's finished is already leagues past many larger developers so it's totally fine by me. Whatever your problems are in your personal life, I hope that they can be resolved as painlessly as possible and with the best outcome, and that you can enjoy making the game, rather than having it end up feeling like a chore trying to force yourself to hold a specific schedule, as that never works out well for anyone. So keep up the fantastic work at whatever pace you need and take care of yourself where you need to! Thanks for everything you do! I'm excited to see where the game ends up when it's finished!
