Said orifices are filled and sealed by the tar-like effluent. While the goo an be dissolved by application of natural oils, it must be done quickly. After twenty to thirty minutes with undissolved fly 'tar' in their body, the subject skin will transform into more such tar, forming a thick, sticky cocoon over their innards, which slowly transform into a new tar fly over the next seven to nine days. This process is said to be completely painless, offering its victims a dizzy, euphoric sense of comfortable bliss that is confirmed to last at least the several minutes of cocoon formation, an likely much longer. What of their former lives a new tar fly remembers is unknown, though given the minuscule size of its brain, it likely remembers very little.
